Bathing by Nina was born from a love of the elegant swimwear of the 1920s and 1930s — an era when bathing suits combined distinctive style with confident, flattering silhouettes.
Our designs take inspiration from those beautiful proportions, without simply recreating the past. Each piece is designed for today, with carefully considered fit, supportive construction and quality fabrics made for swimming, movement and long summer days.

Josephine, Ella and Nina form the beginning of the Bathing by Nina collection — three distinctive silhouettes, each inspired by the elegance and confidence of early 20th-century swimwear.
Designed with longer legs, supportive construction and carefully considered details, they combine vintage character with the comfort and function expected of modern swimwear.

Cal is our interpretation of the classic men’s bathing suit of the 1920s and 1930s — a clean, athletic silhouette with a distinctly vintage character.
With its fitted one-piece construction, longer leg and understated contrast stripes, Cal takes inspiration from an era when men’s swimwear combined simplicity, elegance and function.
Designed for modern swimming, comfort and movement, it brings the character of early 20th-century swimwear into the present without feeling like a costume.
